Custom Background Pattern

  • In the Dara theme, when I go to Customize then Colors & Backgrounds then click on the Change button on the Background bar, I only see a list of predefined images for “Pick a Background Pattern”. Last year, I was able to set the background to a purchased media image of confetti (for New Year’s Day) yet I’m not finding a way to do that this year.

    Similar to setting a custom color, how do I set an image as the background in the Dara theme?

    From what I can see your site is a WordPress.com Business site, which includes free live chat support.

    It’s also worth noting that this support forum is for sites set up on other hosts (GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc.) which do not function the same as sites on WordPress.com.

    With this in mind can you ask for a hand with your background image issue here? The support staff at WordPress.com are happy to take a closer look: https://wordpress.com/help/contact
