custom background color per post

    Is it possible to add a field to enter a color value that would be used as the post background color per post?

    All in all, yes, but that’s not something that we have any built in capabilities for with CPTUI.

    Even just a standard custom field could do something like that for you and store a hex value like #ff0000 which would be the color red. Other plugins like ACF and CMB2 could offer fancier things like a color picker and whatnot to help with choosing.
