Custom Avatar and Cover images for specific user role

    Hi everybody,

    thanks for this plugin. I’m setting it for my specific needs.

    I have a question about the custom profile images fields, because I can see them only in the users profile settings, when I’m logged as Administrator. Is it correct?

    In my project, users can register trough the registration form as Author role, but when they are logged on their user backend page, they can’t see the upload image fields for custom avatar and cover.

    Is it possible to enable these fields for a specific user role and not only for Admin user?

    Hey @grafico_torino can you check you have the ‘Custom Avatars’ setting turned on in Users > Settings > Profiles

    thanks for reply.

    I confirm that in User > Settings > Profiles, the “Custom Avatars” option is checked.

    The images fields are visible only when I’m logged as Administrator.
    For example: if I go on a specific user profile page (es: Users > User_Test) I can see these fields, change avatar, ecc..If I’m logged as User_Test and I go on the same (its) user profile page these fields are missing.

    User_Test has Author role; I don’t know if it’s a capabilities issue but it doesn’t seem so.

    Just to confirm, it was the ‘Custom Avatars’ setting.

    Do you see the fields when you edit the account when logged in as the user? Custom fields aren’t shown on the profile unless they have data

    Hi,
    sorry I updated the previous post because I wrote wrong. It was “Custom Avatars” checked and “Disable Profile Cover Image” unchecked.

    When I’m logged as User (Author role) I can’t see the fields.
    Returned as Administrator user, I uploaded an avatar image for the User, but logging again with it the fields still missing.
