Custom author name on FBIA?

I modified my WP site so that I can override the Author name with a custom one using this tutorial:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-rewrite-guest-author-name-with-custom-fields-in-wordpress/It works on the site, but FBIA is scraping the default (incorrect) author name. How can I display a custom author in FB iA?
As an example, here is an article on the site – the author name is displayed as “CHERIE T. BUISSON DVM” but if you look at the IA feed it says “<author>Jessica Vogelsang</author>”
