Ok, so its taken me a couple days to figure out whats going on and I’ve narrowed it down some what. After trying multiple combinations of arrangements I have figured out that the custom product add on (WCPA plugin by Acowebs) is having issues applying to categories past my 2nd level of my store. So if you click on my shop page it brings up 4 product categories, the first 2 categories mylar bags & T shirts these sort of work but labels and digital & 3D printing are not getting the file upload button on the products I have selected. if you click on shop then tshirts, then the gildan heavy cotton custom print product you’ll see it works, the upload file option is there but if you go back and click the product next to it, Heat transfer custom print product it does not work there is no file upload option even though it is selected for this product. I noticed that its because this 2nd product is also linked to my digital & 3D printing category which is the last category on the shop page. I’m shooting in the dark here and assuming this may be a theme issue? but at the same time it dosnt make sense for it to be a theme issue because I’ve tried other plugins and they worked fine but the upload buttons were tacky looking so I decided to purchase the woo commerce custom product addon and of course it ended up being the only plugin giving me issues. I have a few different products that will require my customers to upload their designs or logos to customize what they are purchasing. I appreciate your time and information, thanks so much.

I have contacted the WCPA plugin support, gave them access to admin on my site and they attempted to resolve the issue but after not being able to figure it out they claim my site is slow and unresponsive and have since stopped replying to me and kept my money. I’ve tested my website at multiple locations on multiple devices and I have 0 issues with site speed or response time, I’m pretty sure they just told me this because they no longer wanted to deal with the issue and wanted to keep my money.

Ok so, what I thought I figured out was useless. I removed the “Heat Transfer Paper for Clothing Pre-Printed” from the digital & 3d printing category and it still does not show the file upload button so I’m at a complete loss as to why it works with some categories and not others.

I have even tried making a category specifically for the products that will need the upload file button. I made a category called “file upload” I linked it to the products that would need the upload option and it still skips over the same products. I just can not for the life of me understand what is going on here, this should not be this complicated.

I figured out the issue on my own. apparently this WCPA plugin wont display on products that do not have a set price. It never mentioned this until I made a new product, in its own category and had nothing linked to it besides the plugins attributes only then did it display the issue on the product page.

Glad to hear that you figured this out.

Kindly note that this forum is specific for WooCommerce core, if you are referring to Product Attributes Shortcode plugin please reach out to them (I’ve read you already did, but just saying this for anyone who checks this thread) on its specific forum at:

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now. If you have any further questions, I recommend creating a new thread.

    Best ??
