Custom added menus not showing

Hi. I have added some custom menu items to my admin menu, in other words these are menu items not being automatically added when installing any plugin. But these menu items are not showing up in other than the administrator user. Any ideas for how I can get these menu items showing up when logged in with the other lower privileged roles?
