    Hi,

Pluging is working very well on my buddypress pages. I am clicking (enable) pages and my some custom post types (pluging can see my cpt) and saving but still non logged user can see this pages and cpt. Missing something or i must enable on page or cpt screen for each them. I mean that such as i have movie cpt first i will enable on pluging setting than enable for each movie/movie1 or movie/movie2 ?

I hope you understand with my bad english…

    Thanks

If you select the movie cpt, then a Public or Private checkbox will appear in the upper right corner of their wp-admin Create and Edit screens.

So you need to use that checkbox for each instance of movie.
iow. It is not a ‘global’ setting.

We understand that having the option to make it a global setting would be useful. And we will put it on the perhaps-to-do list.

Please note that this plugin is primarily for BP rather than WP.
Therefore it leans towards cpts that are created in the context of a custom BP component. So if Movies was a BP component that included a cpt called movie, then a Movies checkbox would appear in the BP section of the settings screen and that option would function as a ‘global’ setting. And each instance of movie would be private.

    My problem or need ??

I have cpt such as movie or music on bp-custom.php and display all buddypress activity and filter. So, any member create a movie cpt on frontend editor, non members cant see this post on buddypress activity becuase your pluging restrict bp (its ok perfect) but can see WP movie archive…

    I hope you understand what i mean…

Global setting will be perfect for CPT or pages ??
    Thanks your interest….

Actually i dont want to solve with user role editor or paid membership roles for pages or cpt because i have lots of membership levels. And the problem is most of pluging has own role editor such as visual composer or event manager pro, so if do anything on user role editor, i must turn to other pluging to create again…

So global setting is great idea…

A site-wide setting of Private for selected post types is now available – but only in the Pro version: https://www.philopress.com/products/bp-simple-private-pro/
