Cursor does not activate / show in the form fields unless the label is clicked

    I have just installed the free version of UM, a trial run to see if my client likes it enough to use the Pro version on her website.

    My only problem so far is that on the registration and login forms, nothing happens if you click into the form field to bring the cursor focus to that field. The cursor only show up if the user clicks on the label for the field. This is magnified by the problem that if a field label is not displayed ( ie it’s hidden) – then the curser doesn’t appear at all.

    I can also not see an easy way to set/insert autofocus for the first visible form field as a workaround for this issue.

    I have deactivated all other plugins to check for a conflict, and the problem occurs even when the only plugin active on the site is UM.

    Help please ?

    Hello,
    This problem is specific for your site. Please describe your environment: device, operation system, browser, WordPress theme.
    Please try to do a conflict test to confirm that this is not a feature of your theme.
    Please provide a link to your site login page if possible.

    The site is on Flywheel Hosting on a staging website – there are no plugin conflicts that can find , the theme does seem to be the issue. We cannot change themes as there is no other theme out there that does video streaming in quite the same way.
    I have a ticket open with the theme developers ( Iqonic , Streamit theme) , I am hoping they will resolve, as I would prefer to keep both the theme and your plugin.

    I will update this ticket when I have a reply from Iqonic.

    Hi there. .

    I had to travel internationally for a terminally ill family member so was not working for a few weeks. I am back now and chasing the Iqonic theme developers – I have reopened this so that I can make updates with their feedback once I hear back from them.
