Currently reading stopped working

    Hi,

    I’ve been using your plugin from the very first version of it and have been enjoying it very much, so thanks a lot!

    I have not been updating the plugin the last 5 – 6 version updates, since it was working so well. With the new WordPress 5 release I decided to update Recencio as well, unfortunately the Current Reading widget stopped working.

    I now get this error:
    “ReferenceError: currently_reading is not defined” and “Cannot read property ‘current_page’ of undefined”
    You can see it in the developer console if you visit https://www.bogtanken.dk.

    Can I do anything to fix this?

    Hey @kimoves,
    For that error, can you click “Update Progress” on the admin side of the currently reading widget, then reload the admin page. If you now reload your home page the error should be gone.

    Brilliant!
    I had actually tried to click “Update Progress” but I did not reload the admin page afterward, that seemed to do the trick.
    The widget is now working again.
