I love the plugin but I have a few questions about the Currently Reading widget.

-Why is there pagination in the front end? I’m only able to add one book at a time correct?
Is there any way to add more / manage these? What happens when I ‘finish reading’?

-Is there any way to add links? Like via the book cover?

-Is it possible to remove the bottom part of the widget entirely (‘review coming soon’) instead of just changing the text (I currently have an emoji holder). I couldn’t figure out how to do it with CSS.

I would love to see some simple customization options from the widget itself, like what to display, page number or percentage only, image, rows etc. would be a fantastic upgrade. ??

    Thanks so much!

    Hello,

I had originally imagined the widget as a currently reading “progress tracker”. So, it would hold multiple updates of current thoughts while reading through a book, hence the pagination and page/progress tracker via via page number.

So, clicking “finished reading” and updating the progress will reset the widget back to a default/blank state.

There is no way to add links, for the sake of simplicity.

To hide that section .rcno-review-coming-soon {display: none;} would work.

As for your suggestions on upgrades, maybe, if I decide to go through with the complete rewrite that I am mulling over. I am not certain yet. Also, showing or hiding some of the elements you mentioned could be done via CSS.

Thank you so much for your detailed answer! That actually changes my suggestions completely as I didn’t realize what the full intention of the widget was, I will be trying it immediately. You’re right about the CSS, love your work! ??
