[current_year]not working

[current_year] is a predefined constant in the Astra theme. Hence it will not work as shortcode when used with Beaver Builder’s module content. It only works as Footer Custom Text from Customizer settings – https://wpastra.com/docs/footer-custom-text-helper-strings/

However, you can use [wpbb site:year] shortcode in Beaver Builder’s HTML module to display the current year.
