    Hi,

After updating to v6.7.7 of AAM from an older version, none of the roles any longer are able to have their Backend Menu settings accessed. All roles have a message saying “Current user does not have enough capabilities to access any available backend menu” when the Backend Menu option is clicked. As per a previous support article, I have purged then refreshed the cache (Endurance Page Cache) but that did not restore the Backend Menu options, then I disabled the cache all together and that still had no effect. Could you please let me know how to restore this Backend Menu functionality? (Using WordPress v5.8.1) Thanks in advance.

I thought I would check for a possible plugin incompatibility. After disabling all plugins except AAM then the Backend Menu settings for all roles was restored. I gradually re-enabled all other plugins and the Backend Menu settings remained. So for any others that experience this problem, try deactivating all plugins then re-activating them and see if it restores the Backend Menu functionality.
