Current Status for Multisites

    I read in a previous thread that you can only backup entire multisite, not site by site. Is this still the case or have their been changes?

    In addition to this, does incrimental work on multisites and if so how does restoring site affect uptime.

  • Confused as to how this question is marked as resolved? There is no reply/answer….. from what I can see the free version of the WP Time Capsule plugin is not WordPress multisite compatible, i.e. it has no settings in network admin area? Also, if you can’t backup site by site, this would obviously rule out this plugin as being of any use at all for multisite….. hoping somebody can clarify. Not clear on your own website.

    Hi,

    WPTC will backup your entire multisite installation as a network. You will not have an option to backup/restore child sites individually.
    But you can restore the entire multisite installation using our WPTC plugin.
