    Hi,

On the “Current Show On Air” widget, I want to display the schedule information below the DJ name, and floated to the right of the presenter’s avatar, similarly to how the Show Title & DJ Name are displayed.

I’d also like to insert a text line below this which has a link for listeners to get in touch & our telephone number.

However, by default the schedule information displays BELOW the DJ’s avatar, and not to the side underneath the DJ’s name (which is where I want it!).

There must be an easy way to change this and logic told me there would be a template file for the widget, but I am unable to find this.

    Can you help me:

    1. Move the schedule information (time) to underneath the DJ’s name/show name.
    2. Is it possible to insert a line of text below this line which has our studio phone number.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Sorry for the delay. I spoke to @majick about this the other day. While I was thinking we were going to change it, I realized just now, after releasing 2.3.1 (which you can update to today) that if we put the Show Day & Time under the Title and Host name to the right or left of the avatar, if there are multiple showtimes it’s going to push the Description down and cause a ton of the white space under the avatar for other users. So, I don’t think we can do that.

We can add a field in the widget for Studio Phone or Email. I’m thinking we could, in a future PRO version, add studio chat option.

@majick what are your additional thoughts here?

Is there a way that if he disables the Show Description that he can move the Show Time under the Show Title and Show Host? I know we chatted about this, but now I’m not so sure that’s a good idea, as it may affect many users who have multiple showtimes listed and cause an egregious amount of white space under the avatar.

I’ll deal with this as two different issues…

    1. You are in luck, someone asked for this last week so we reconsidered the widget item display order (and added a filter to the order for future use.) See this ticket for more details: https://github.com/netmix/radio-station/issues/197
You will need to update to 2.3.1 to get the changed order and newly available filter.

@tonyzeoli FYI as regards displaying the current shift time, it is displayed separately from the full shift list (which is displayed last by default) so no problems there.

    2. One option for that at the moment would be to enable excerpts and use the excerpt filter radio_station_current_show_widget_excerpt to modify the excerpt content, in this case to your studio phone number. We will explore the idea of adding a call in number in a future version:
    https://github.com/netmix/radio-station/issues/212

You can follow up these issues on Github if you need to, so I will close this support ticket here.

@majick Thaks, my mistake on thinking that it was the list and not the individual time. I did look at the widgets page on the demo site but may have just gotten confused as to which came first, the chicken or the egg, lol. Good call and thanks for chiming in.

@sams1012 If you get a moment, we’d love a review of the plugin. Since we took over the plugin last year, many of the reviews are many years old and we’d love to get updated reviews from newer users. Thanks.
