current date time widget

  • I’m using Current Date & Time Plugin (v1.03 by Chris Jean. See ) although his site no longer exists.

    I’ve got it working OK, but I’d like the PHP date format displayed to use ‘D’, the three letter version (e.g. Mon) rather than the full text representation ‘l’ as it currently does. See here for date format details.

    See my sidebar text widget at this site. In the plugin code (see below) I can see two references to ‘l’ that I have tried changing to ‘D’ but this has no effect on the output. Should I be editing some other place too?
