[currency_switcher] Shortcode doesnt work in Header

As you are editing the header.php file, could you please check if the following PHP snippet works?

do_action('wcml_currency_switcher', array('format' => '%name% (%symbol%)'));

I already tried this, unfortunately, the output is blank.
