    Hi @1stconnectweb

Sorry about the trouble you are having here, the version number you are referring to is for The Events Calendar, not event Tickets. Can you confirm you have Events Tickets version 5.2.3?

It sounds like the currency selector you are using is just under the General Events settings, you’ll also need to change that under the “Payments” tab since it sounds like you are using Tickets Commerce? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/tickets-commerce/

    Please let me know!

Hi Truman, thank you for your reply. I have the configurations as you have suggested, but the issue persists. I have replied to your email with screenshots. I appreciate your support, please advise further? Thank you

    Hi again @1stconnectweb

Thanks for letting me know, unfortunately I wasn’t able to get those screenshots, are you able to upload them on something like Loom?

I want to check here, you have the currency stuff setup, where exactly is it not displaying correctly? We did have a bug that was affecting the currency on the Checkout page, but that has since been patched.

I think once I can get those screenshots I should be able to see. If you want you can send them to my email ( my name here @theeventscalendar.com , I can’t post that directly apparently.)

Hi guys, I have uninstalled and deleted the plugin. I have uploaded and activated an older version of the plugin – my website Issue solved, which means there is a bug in the new release.

    Hi @1stconnectweb

Thank you for letting me know, sorry I did get your email with the images. We have just been really busy with Support tickets lately.

I had a chat with one of our Developers, and as it turns out, right now Paypal does not Support South African Rand at all as a currency: https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/reference/currency-codes/

PayPal works in South Africa but it needs to be set in USD.

We are going to be releasing our integration with Stripe for Tickets Commerce in our next release for Event Tickets, and that does support ZAR. So for now you can try to keep the setup you have, but once Stripe is ready for integration with Tickets Commerce you’ll be able to use ZAR as a currency.

Let me know if you have any questions!
