Currency symbol adds more then one symbol

  • Hi There,

    I’m having an issue with the currency symbol.
    Since i already insert a symbol to my prices ($) when creating my products, now when i added “$” symbol in the currency field the catalog show me 4 “$” symbols instead of one therefore the pricing filer is not working correctly.

    Could you possibly fine tune it so people who already are using currency symbols within the price field could enjoy from the price filter? the other un-realistic option is to delete and upload again the whole catalog…

    I hope you can find a way to by pass it:)

    Thanks for notifying us of the issue. It seems that it adds one for the thumbnail, two for the list and three for the details. We will fix that as soon as possible. The fourth dollar sign comes from the dollar sign that has been added with the price, upon creating the product.

    Even with the fix, it would not be possible for you to filter your price. The reason why is that it has already been added to the product price upon uploading the spreadsheet or creating the product. We would suggest you exporting all of your products onto a spreadsheet and removing the dollar signs, and the reuploading the spreadsheet.

    Using spreadsheet should take you a blink of an eye to replace the products, so you should not worry. Simply have a test spreadsheet first, to make sure you’re comfortable with it.
