    Hi!

I have the plugin working and everything is good.

But since I have installed a currency switcher for the site it is not working so well.

The price changes and in Klarna the currency comes in as SEK or NOK accordingly to what I have choosed in the cart.

But when clicking paypal button it still shows SEK even though the price is changed to the NOK or DKK currency.

In the settings window for this plugin it says nothing about currencys so I do not know if it has to do with the plugin or the settings in woocommerce.

Have you had anyone else with a currencyswitcher that has mase this work somehow? ??

  • @mercedeswpml, sorry to “butt in”, I just wanted to inform you that the fix I sent will also work for WPML, not just for our product. No further work should be required ??

    thanks Diego.
To make it official we would need to check it on our side too.
@angelleye Feel free to join us at https://wpml.org/purchase/theme-and-plugin-developers/ if you’re interested

@diego, that one merged beautifully, thank you. It’s officially included in my stable dev branch which will turn into the next tagged version release, hopefully in a couple of weeks at the most.

    @mercedeswpml, I just signed up.

Thanks for the merge, glad it worked smoothly. Cheeky question: do we get to be mentioned as contributors on the plugin page? ??

I know the GitHub repo updated to show you as a contributor. is there something in the WP directory you’re referring to? I’m not sure I even know about it.

No worries. You can simply add my user name (daigo75) to the Contributors section in the readme.txt.

    Example
    Contributors: angelleye, daigo75

That will list me as a contributor. I also didn’t know about that, I discovered it by chance when I “experimentally” added a person to the contributors of our Skrill plugin. ??

Ah, I remember seeing that. Sure, I’ll do that. Can we chat on Skype or anything? I’d like to talk about other ways we might be able to work together.

Thanks for that. I sent you my email address via Google+, you should see a message shared by me.

Hi, just checking if you got my message on Google+ ??

Is this only happening with the PayPal for WooCommerce plugin, or is it happening with other gateways too? At what point exactly does the currency change?

    thank you for quick replay,
if i am change currency on cart page then go to checkout page product price automaticaly change with original price its not metter of gateway.

Sounds like you would need to discuss that with @diego directly if it’s happening with gateways that aren’t included with our plugin.

He’s pretty good about responding, though, so I would imagine he’ll jump in here before long.

    okey thank you

If the issue occurs before payments, then the PayPal plugin is unrelated to it. It’s also unlikely that the Currency Switcher is the culprit here.

We have a dedicated support portal for our customers, you can file the support request there: https://aelia.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
Please make sure that you enter all the details required by the form, as that will allow us to solve the issue more quickly.
