    Hi

I wanted to know if we can have these options in a multi-currency plugin.

    1. Is there any way to display the flag of another currency on the product list, allowing users to select the price for each product in the product archive page or product categories widget?
    2. Can we display prices in both currencies simultaneously without requiring the user to select a flag? For example, can the user see prices in both USD and EUR at the same time, but use the default currency during checkout?
    3. Lastly, how can we show prices in both currencies in the cart? Is this possible?

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I’ll address each of your concern below:

    1. Yes, you can use shortcode to display a currency selector anywhere you want. Please find one you like in this list: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_menu_3872
    2. Yes, you can try the Approximate price feature: https://youtu.be/_DV2XVETUzM?si=IHLtcaAkEKLERCFS&t=696
    3. There’s an option called “Display multi currency” under “Checkout” settings that supports this feature: https://youtu.be/_DV2XVETUzM?si=xxTpOG3CmIWFUrqb&t=343
Or you can check this tutorial video: https://youtu.be/YiFz-Kqe2XI?si=4k1fjJIXvf33qrPg&t=225
But this option is available in the premium plugin only.

Another way is using Approximate price as guided in number 2, you can show approximate price in some elements on Cart/Checkout page, this is handled by the “Show Approximate price for” option. But this option is just available in the premium plugin.

    Best regards.

Thank you so much. Your support is really one of the best. I have some more questions:

    1. I have USD and IRR currencies on my website. I have set the “Auto Detect” to “Approximate price,” but when the default currency is IRR, the USD price doesn’t show. However, when I set the default currency to USD, both prices in IRR and USD are shown like this: “558 $ Approximately: 27,900,000 ?”. Can you help me solve this issue? I want to show both prices if the default currency is IRR.
    2. Additionally, is there any way to remove the word “Approximately” from the price in the “Auto Detect to Approximate” setting?

The Approximate price feature is still working on my site with IRR as default currency: https://grey.new2new.com/shop/

I’m using latest CURCY and WooCommerce

In your case, I would recommend testing for conflicts by taking the following steps:?https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

It could be a conflict. It’s very possible that a plugin, or even your theme, is causing the trouble. This will help you identify the one.

For the text “Approximately”, there’s an option in the pro version called “Approximate price’s label“. For the free version, you can use Loco Translate plugin to edit this text: https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/how-to-translate-plugin/
