• Hi,

    I wonder if it somehow possible to change the currency immediately after the customer selects his country on the checkout page?
    for example:
    If the customer will choose “United Satates” then the currency should change to “USD”.

  • This is actually a really good idea. Let’s see if Tom knows if there is a hook in woocommerce to append the currency to the country selected.

    As promised – we’ve just released new plugin version 2.8.6. There in “Countries” plugin settings section (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Currency Switcher > Countries”), I’ve added new “Override Country” option. It’s set to “Override disabled” by default, but you can change it to one of four other options:

    • Override with billing country on checkout page only
    • Override with billing country on all site
    • Override with shipping country on checkout page only
    • Override with shipping country on all site

    Hope that helps and please let me know if it’s not working as expected, or if you have any other feedback.

    Thank you so much! it looks great but I think that the “Enter Countries as Comma Separated Text” is not working.

    I am checking the checkbox and adding the counties via “auto assign countries” and the drop down is set to “override with billing on checkout page only” but nothing happens when I change the billing country on the checkout form, the currency stays the same as I chose on the home page, the IP option works good thought , in Israel at least.. ??

    @webziss did you try clearing your cache? I had a similar issue when I first set it up, once I cleared my cache everything was right as rain. ??
