• EDIT: Found out it was in conflict with the WP Super Cache plug-in. Works as intended when WP Super Cache is disabled. Since I have other cache solutions I can work with this, but if Curcy would like to try to resolve this conflict for other users since it’s an official cache plug-in, I hope this will be helpful!

I was using Curcy to display 2 currencies with auto-selection. Shop default is US$ (as set in WooCommerce also) for all countries, except S$ (SGD) for Singapore, custom unchanging exchange rate.

It was working before I updated Curcy to 2.2.5 and WooCommerce to 2.9.5. Current WordPress is ver 6.7.
Now currency is stuck at default US$ regardless of IP address location (tested and confirmed US, JP and SG IPs).

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. And thank you for the updates. We have an optioned called “Use cache plugin” under General setting tab, have you tried this option?

Also, I’m not sure if you really updated WooCommerce to 2.9.5. Perhaps you meant another version? WooCommerce is 9.5.1 at its latest version.

    Best regards.

Yes, my WooCommerce is at 9.5.1. Sorry about the typo!
Thanks for the heads-up! I hadn’t tried it since it said “and currency does not remain after being switched by customers in the frontend” due to the fact I’m using autodetect.

Turned it on and tried it again with WP Super Cache installed.

Checked with US IP and US-located friends and it shows my non-default alternate currency (SGD) for a few seconds before switching to the geolocated currency (USD).
Not a big issue for so I’ll be turning WP Super Cache back on, but if there can be a small efficiency fix for that in the future, or other settings I can change, that would be great to know!

Thank you for the updates. It’s the behavior of AJAX option which is supported in the free plugin. In the premium one, you’ll have JSON option. For more details of them, please visit our documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/woocommerce-multi-currency/#page_section_child_menu_2989
