Currency is not converted for variable products

  • My variable products have different price depending on attribute variations. The product is listed on the product page with the range of prices, which are converting right. But when you pick the desired variation, the item price is in the original currency amount, just with local currency symbol added. Adding the product to the cart is also done with the original currency amount and local symbol, which is totally wrong.

    Sorry for the delay. I’ve just checked on my test server, but unfortunately couldn’t reproduce the issue – prices for variations of variable products seem to be converted correctly (on single page and in cart also). Could you please let me know which WooCommerce plugin and Currency Switcher for WooCommerce plugin versions do you have installed on your server?

    Hi Tom,
    I got WooCommerce 3.0.5 and WC Vendors 1.4.1 both being a major update from the previous versions.

    Currency Switcher for WooCommerce 2.3.0 and Currency Switcher for WooCommerce Pro 2.2.4.

    Ok, I think the issue should be gone when you update Currency Switcher for WooCommerce Pro from 2.2.4 to 2.3.0. You’ll have to login to your account at https://wpcodefactory.com/my-account/ to download the latest version (sorry we haven’t done automatic updates for the moment, so you’ll have to do it manually). Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the update.

    Hey there

    I have a similar issue with the WooCommerce Deposit (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-deposits/) and Extra Product Options Plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619/). Currency is only shown with the correct symbol on the product page but price doesn’t convert. It’s strange because both plugins use the default wc_price() method to call the price.
