Currency in cart

  • Hello,

    I bought Booster for Woocommerce, and it works very well

    I am using the multi currency tool.
    My main currency is the Uruguayan Peso (UYU – UY$)
    We have some products in American Dolars (USD – U$D)
    But we have a problem in the cart page: it shows always the USD symbol (although the total number is OK, is not converted)
    The default currency set in WooCommerce is Uruguayan Peso…
    We don’t know how to fix it.
    The good thing is that the checkout page and the payment gateway both show the correct currency symbol (UYU or USD depending the case)

    What can be happening?
    It looks to be a matter of symbols (since – fortunately – does not convert the currency)

    Hi @tamicabre,

    Could you please try enabling Booster’s “General” module (in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Emails & Misc. > General”) and enabling “Recalculate Cart Totals on Every Page Load” checkbox there. Please let me know if that makes any difference.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
    Unfortunately it makes no difference… still shows ALWAYS the same symbol: USD.

    Just to clarify, we DON’T need to convert the prices.
    The Products in USD should stay in USD, and the products in UYU should stay in UYU, and you cannot mix USD and UYU in the cart.

    Any ideas?
