Currency generator stop working

    Hi guys,

    After installing CBX I had it up and running no issues. All of a sudden it stopped generating live rates. I’ve switched between API and now Alphavantage gives me part rates but not your majors like usd and eur.

    I continued to buy a premium plan with Exchangeratehost any way to try fix the issue but I’m not getting anything from that.

    It’s currently on alphavantage only partially working.

    How can I fix this?

    Any free api has limitation, use any pro api. Before purchase check which api provides which services

    Like I said it was working 100% with Alphavantage for around an hour, now only works partly.

    I have purchased a pro plan with Exchangeratehost and it does not work at all.

    Hi,

    Alphavantage free api has hourly hit limit and doesn’t provide all. It’s good to start testing and use if usages is very low.

    Did you check there is an option from plugin’s setting in tools menu for clear the rate cache.

    Hi,

    So that will be why it stopped working yesterday but doesn’t explain why the other currencies stopped as well.

    You mean I should reset rate cache?

    I will reach out there for solution on Exchangeratehost.

    there is option to reset rate cache from our plugin which cache for specific time based on plugin’s setting but that will not make changes in api end.
