Currency-changer dosen't work

Just updated to 4.5.3, and there seems to be some misfunction with the ‘woocommerce_quickpay_currency’-hook. Regardless of what I return in my custom hook, the currency stays the same.
Moreoever, whenever I use the currency-select from the settingspanel, I dosen’t change accordingly. Here the currency stays the same aswell.
