I am using the social share plugin. It is giving me this error when tyring to establish a email share button

We noticed that your site returns a cURL error (?Error: A valid URL was not provided. ?). This means that it cannot send a notification to SpecificFeeds.com when a new post is published. Therefore this email-feature doesn’t work. However there are several solutions for this, please visit our FAQ to see the solutions (?Perceived bugs? => ?cURL error messages?): https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq

I have contacted my hosting site Bluehost and they are having trouble figuring it out and I reached out to the plugin support and they told me to put in a ticket.

I would just like to have a functioning website. Any assistance is appreciated.

    Thank you for reporting this.

Those error messages point to a cURL-issue on your site. cURL is needed so that your site can communicate with other sites, which is important for the Email-feature to work

If you don’t need those features, you can ignore the error message.

However, the best option is to fix your cURL issues for good. Please check the following points (if you don’t know how to do this, please ask your server team or hosting company to do it):

    1. Ensure that cURL is installed and activated on your site
    2. Ensure that no proxy is blocking requests to other servers (e.g. because of a firewall)
    3. Ensure that your server allows PUT/POST requests
    4. Ensure your software is up to date

I did reach out to the hosting site and they referred me to the plugins FAQ to figure it out. They said: cURL is enabled by default through the server end. I would suggest you check this link and troubleshoot : https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq

I am not sure what I need to have Bluehost do or should I just enable the website feature listed above.

Please try the following workaround solution:

    1. Enter your website url on https://www.specificfeeds.com/rss
    2. On the following page, scroll down to the bottom to get the code for the subscription form, and link to link the email icon to
    3. Place it on your website

    Does that work?
