    We have been getting consistent cURL errors the last week or so. We have had cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to https://www.googleapis.com:443, cURL error 28: SSL connection timeout, cURL error 52: Empty reply from server. We are using Gmail API. Thoughts/suggestions?

    @fooey Hi,

    Hope you are doing good.

    Seems like the issue is from the server-side, can you talk to your hosting support and share this issue with them, and let me know if they fix this or share any solution with you.

    Also please share our plugin Settings > Account tab screenshot with me, you can hide your confidential details.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    I checked with the hosting first thing and they did not see any issues on their end. They also tested doing a couple curl requests to smtp.gmail.com and they went through without issue. Here are the settings https://imgur.com/a/89ZErz6. Appreciate your help.

    I tested this issue on my staging website and didn’t get any errors.

    Try to rest the plugin and configure again or try to change settings like change type to SMTP and configure the plugin again and test it?

    Thanks

    Hi there,
    The next step was to reconfigure and get new API keys. The issue seems to be ok now, however. Have not had any errors since the 11th so hoping it was some issue with Google servers? Will keep an eye on it for now. Thank you
