• Hi there:) I’m setting up the iThemes Security plugin, but is said”cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired”. I have checked my SSL certificate, It is indeed activated and has not expired yet. So do you have any ideas about this issue?

    Thanks!

Yes, when I click the “Activate Network Brute Force Protection” button in the Security Check option, this error appears.

It appeared on two of my websites. And my hosting provider (Siteground), it seemed like nothing could be done:(

Same issue. Everything seems fine on the site’s end. Also tried overwriting the ca-bundle.crt from the latest wp build, and double-checked the SSL. Looks like this is an issue at iTheme’s end.

The same problem and my hosting provider (Knownhost) tell me that everything is fine with my SSL certificate and my hosting, which is by ithemes security that I seek to contact ithemes support to solve it.

they tested the: ipcheck-api.ithemes.com in SSL Checker and there certificate did not pass “This certificate has expired”

I have not been able to solve the problem.

Looks like it’s fixed now. iTheme’s API checker subdomain’s SSL was down for almost an entire day. They got it renewed and it’s working now. Just retried getting the API and it worked!

Yeah it did work now, thanks for the reminder!

If they already fixed the API I gave it to “Activate Network Brute Force Protection” and it worked.
