Aloha! My client is running on BlueHost WP 5.53 with the current WooCommerce, and has been set up with all of the proper account information, and the system works fine up to the final authorization, which fails. The back-end has the message: CardConnect failed transaction. Response: CURL error?
Is this related to the Ports issue? What would be the best way to resolve this? Mahalo!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, did you ever hear back or solve the issue? we are running into the same exact issue with latest version (3.2.9) Works perfectly in sandbox mode but when we put it live we get the Curl error.

Hi, to whoever has the same issue we solved ours contacting cardconnect. They never authorize the woocommerce integration and after they did that and changed credentials, we were able to make it work.

Yes, we contacted CardConnect directly, and they gave us new numbers for settings that got us in.

As a follow up, before I close this one (thanks @banzaizap for your help).
The plugin no longer uses the 6443 and 8443 ports, but were left in for backwards compatibility. They will be removed in time.
New installs of the plugin, and CardConnect’s API stuff, use the standard SSL port, which would be opened on most, if not all, shared hosting environments.

@banzaizap this is true, you always need to have the WooCommerce creds setup by your rep.
