I tried re-syncing my Shopify data, but the sync would not complete. So I tried reducing the items per request to 25 and turned on synchronous requests, but now I get an error that says:

Curl error 35: error:14077410:ssl routines:ssl23_get_server_hello:sslv3 alert handshake failure while calling http_request_failed. Please clear the plugin transient cache and try again. Error status code: 500

I tried clearing the transient cache, but I get the same error. Can you please help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey Christine,

That error is usually due to a webserver configuration issue. My first action would be to contact your webhost and send them the error. They should be able to update your WordPress environment to get around the problem. You can send them this link for reference: https://torbjornzetterlund.com/wordpress-edd-ssl23_get_server_hellosslv3-alert-handshake-failure/

The second thing I would do is try deactivating all your other plugins, then attempt another resync. Sometimes plugins can restrict various server-settings — especially security / caching plugins.

Third, try setting items per request to 1 and resync. Also make sure your site is running a valid SSL certificate (HTTPS).

    Hope this helps!
