cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

I am not sure if this is something that you will be able to help me out with but I figured I would try before I talked to my hosting company.

I got this error on site health:

Error details: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

I tried going to the yoast link specified but it does not mention any way to fix the curl error (there are comments about it in the comment section but no one has replied to them).

Is this a serious error? and what am I supposed to do? Is it something that I can fix myself or do I have to involve my hosting company?
