• Hello!

I get an error every now and then with the plugin and preload of cache. I do use cron job for preload (6 pages at a time), and most of the time it works, ut ever so often a few of the pages get en error: “cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received – ERROR” – Why is this and how do I solve it?

Also I have activated the automatic cache: https://www.wpfastestcache.com/features/automatic-cache/#more-2092

It works most of the time, but every now and then I get an error:
“Cache has NOT been generated for this content successfully
    Reason: timeout”
I think this is the same kind of error?

    Can anyone help please?

    Kind regards, Annie

Hi I haven’t seen the reply til now.
I haven’t tried with 2, because I have a very large site and I have to make the proloads as fast as possible.

I have it set at 6 at the moment, but I have a VPS server so that shouldn’t be the issue? (I would actually increase it, 12 at a time would be best.)

My server guys says I could extend the curl time out in the curl call like this:
    https://ec.haxx.se/usingcurl/usingcurl-timeouts

Do you know anything about it, or what could be done to make as many as possible at a time?

    Thanks for helping.

    Kind regards, Annie

Oh, and another question. Is there any way to make the preload prioritize the home page and all the woocommerce categories before it preloads the products (the site is based on a WooCommerce shop, for affiliate products). Thanks! / Annie

Hi, ok. But what about the curl error?

I am getting the same error with cURL and the preload, meaning if I load https://[SITE]/?action=wpfastestcache&type=preload in a web browser, more than half the results come back with a green OK, but 40% or so return a red ERROR.

It doesn’t really take 10 seconds to load uncached pages. Is it preloading these sequentially rather than hitting the server with all the requests at once?

I did reduce preload to 2 and still have the problem.

    Thanks!
