cURL error 28 connection test failed

    hi

    i checked my wordpres site health and there i see

    This error msg

    “Connection test failed (#http_request_failed: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received)” this is jetpack eror

    and also there is 2 error

    1st – “The REST API request failed due to an error.
    Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”

    2nd – “The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
    Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”

    This error totally disconnects my site. Please help. Jetpack is very important for my site

    Apparently the problem is the latest version 8.3.
    Install version 8.0 and the problem was fixed

    Can you contact your web host and check to see if they’re blocking or otherwise limiting incoming and outgoing connections over XML-RPC?

    Jetpack, the WordPress mobile apps, and some other plugins and services use this file to communicate with your site, but some hosts block connection requests to that file.

    Please open your own thread and include a link to your site, and we can help you there.

    I would not recommend reverting to Jetpack 8.0 – that version is several months old, and you’re opening up your site to possible security issues using any plugin that’s outdated. We won’t be able to help you with any issues arising from using an outdated version of Jetpack.
