    CONTINUED:
So while the WPForms & Pro were active on site we went to ADD A NEW PLUGIN and searched for WPForms. We saw that the WPForms plugin button was displaying INSTALL NOW. This was strange as the plugin was already installed. Anyways we did the INSTALL NOW and after a while ACTIVATED the plugin. Then we went back to plugin update and this time it worked again taking a long time. So the question is:

    1. If the plugin is already active, shouldn’t the director also show ACTIVE button?

    2. Why is it taking ages to install your plugin when there are no issues with any other plugins?

Even though the plugin is ACTIVE the directory is still showing the wrong button: https://snipboard.io/KHebCW.jpg

    Hi @danishhaidri,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Regarding the error alert on on https://snipboard.io/6AKHfj.jpg, we recommend following this WPBeginner guide: How to Fix cURL Error 28: Connection Timed Out After X Milliseconds.

From your screenshot, it seems you’re updating WPForms Pro.

I can see your ticket #4239539 regarding this issue, so we will continue from there.

I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the www.remarpro.com support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help.

Regarding this: “Even though the plugin is ACTIVE the directory is still showing the wrong button: https://snipboard.io/KHebCW.jpg

Please note that you can only have WPForms Pro OR WPForms Lite active on your site, not both at the same time.

If WPForms Pro is active and somehow WPForms Lite is active too, this is unexpected, and there is something wrong. In this case, WPForms Pro should be the active plugin, and because of this, you’re seeing the “Activate” button in the www.remarpro.com directory.

If you want us to provide further information, please share the details from WPForms > Tools > System Info?(screenshot) in the ticket #4239539.

    Thanks!
