    Hi,

I have been using this plugin without problems for 3 months. But since yesterday, when someone wants to submit a form, this error message shows up: cURL error 28: operation timed out after…
Our hosting provider does not understand that error.

    Could you help me?

    Thank you!

The plugin uses the WordPress HTTP API to communicate (HTTP GET, HTTP POST) between your web server (where WordPress is running) and Google (where Google Forms reside). This error means a HTTP request from your sever to Google was not responded to within the timeout period.

You can try increasing the timeout. There is a setting on the Advanced tab of the plugin settings page (Dashboard > Settings Google Forms – Advanced Tab). I’ve had couple other people encounter this error since moving to WordPress 4.6. The release notes mention a change to the HTTP API but what actually changed isn’t stated and I have not had time to go did through the source code to figure out what changed and why it would matter.
