Curious question regarding saving permalinks twice

    Howdy,

    Not a support question, just wanting to satisfy my curiosity ??

    Why do you say to save the permalinks twice? What does the second save do that the first one does not?

    I always save twice, but I would just love to know why I am doing that ??

    Howdy Lyle,

    The saving permalinks twice issue is described here:

    It has been fixed for custom post types. The issue then existed for custom taxonomies. It was fixed too.

    Howerver, we still hear about this issue from some users thus we decided to leave the extra save in there.
