• Hello everyone,

I’ve been running tests, and a curiosity doesn’t get out of my head. Why does QUIC.cloud CDN only have one server? (since the idea of a CDN is to deliver the content on the globe)

The content is delivered only by the server with IP 52.59.41.24, located in Frankfurt, Germany.

The performance of this server is fantastic. Delivers the content, very fast to Europe.

    Examples.

    In Uptrends.com:

9ms – 20ms for the Frankfurt test server.
40ms – 250 ms for the rest of Europe test servers. (except Russia and some others).

    On Pingdom:

    187ms – 250ms for Germany
    253ms – 350ms for UK.

But for other regions, don’t is good.

If there were at least +1 server on the American continent, and +1 server on the Asiatic continent, it would be perfect.

I am aware that QUIC.cloud CDN is in beta. That was just a curiosity. (Along with the slight doubt of doing something wrong.)

    Best regards!

    Hi,

Because you didn’t set DNS record correctly

    from my dig output

you are pointing A record to that fixed IP 52.59.41.24

you should make it CNAME record with QC assigned record for you , like cxxxx.tier1.quic.cloud

    Best regards,
