    Hi guys,

I’m having a problem with the plugin. The Cache is working good but it is creating Cumulative Layout Shift in random pages. The pages are always different, and the only way I can fix them is by purging the cache in each individual page.

The issue only appears when the plugin is active. As I am not an expert I checked every single page of my website before activating the plugin, and I have not done any major change.

These are the other plugins I have:
    -Astra Pro
    -Elementor
    -Elementro Pro
    -Perfmatters
    -Redirection
    -Yoast SEO

The CLS problem is in the upper part of the pages where the main menu is. You may see the problem for example in this page here: https://mayangateway.com/roatan-tailor-made-ride/
I have not purged this one so you see the problem, the other I have purged.

What should I do? I’d pay for support if necessary because this is taking me a lot of time, as I need to be checking every single page. Of course, the other solution is deactivating your plugin, but I really want to keep it as it improves the performance.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I understand. I will need sometime to test, it is very strange but the issues usually come even after one day. I will get back to you in a day or so. Thank you again.

    Hi Saumya,

Unfortunately, I already found a couple of pages with the CLS issue. Like always I will fix them by cleaning the cache of the specific pages.

Is there a way in the plugin to avoid the Elementor files to be cached? perhaps in Settings – Cache – Prevent the following URIs to be cached?

and do you offer premium support? so that someone can help me to find what I need to change to fix the issue.

After making the elementor settings change, have you purged the whole cache?

    – The plugin only helps caching the first dynamic request (HTML). The static files are cached based on the cache-control header that they have which is set at the server level and not via the plugin.

Yes, I purged the whole cache after changing the Elementor settings, and then I made the first revision.

Now that you mentioned the server leve cache:
I just set the Browser Cache TTL from Respect Existing Headers to 4 hours.

    And how about this:
as I don’t have other cache plugin, I could create a page rule like this:
    https://mayangateway.com/*
    Origin Cache Control → Off

    What do you think?

First of all I will recommend you to keep the Browser cache TTL to be Respect Header.
If you are still having the CLS issue, it means that there is some settings still on which is generating the style of the site dynamically based on the device it is being accessed from.

Please contact Elementor support to ask about such settings.

Please note that your problem is related to Elementor and not related to this plugin as explained multiple times before.
