Cumulative layout Shift (CLS) issue with Plugin

Dear sir,
I am using this plugin to conduct the quizzes on my blog.
As we know recently Google has given much weight to the CLS matrix for ranking of the web pages.
As I run my blog through Google web page inside and GT Matrix speed test, it shows slightly CLS ISSUE.

I I have one question at a time in quiz with previous and next button.
As the number of character in question changes from question to question , the layout of the space provided changes as per character it create CLS ISSUE.

SO MY QUESTION IS THAT
How should we avoid this?
Is there any specific additional css should I add in ‘ additional CSS’ so that the web page will not be affected by the layout shifting
