We are having significant problems through Advanced Ads. An ad, when clicked, even though the link is good, gives a page that says “400 Bad Request Cloudflare” error.

I spoke with Advanced Ads and they said they see a javascript error that says “ctSetCookie is not defined” on our console.

I then spoke with Big Scoots to ask what was causing this, and they responded that CleanTalk is causing this, and the error does not show up when CleanTalk is temporarily stopped.

It isn’t a big deal to stop an anti-spam filter on the staging, but we obviously cannot live without an anti-spam filter on our live site. We fend off hundreds of thousands of spam attacks with Anti-Virus Clean Talk.

Can Clean Talk possibly tell us why this is suddenly happening?

I’ve updated the plugin, but still face the same issues.

    Hello, @brielyn144.

    Please, do the following:
? WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Use alternative mechanism for cookies” to “On” —> Save Changes.

    Did it help?

Our original problem, the “400 Bad Request Cloudflare” error still persists. I am not sure if anything changed.

    Then disable the Anti-Crawler option:
? WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Anti-Crawler” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

The option blocks bots and unexpected crawlers.

    Did it help?

I think the Anti-Crawler is already off.

The box is unchecked next to the words “Anti-Crawler Plugin shows SpamFireWall stop page for any bot, except allowed bots (Google, Yahoo and etc)….

I am not sure how to upload a screenshot.
