Ctrl-BkSp Not Deleting Last Word

It’s Option (or Alt) Backspace on Macintosh, and I can reproduce this.

This is an upstream bug in TinyMCE and it looks like it only affects WebKit browsers. It has been reported to them and was fixed 10 days ago.

This is too late to be fixed for 3.3, but we might backport the fix for 3.3.1 and it will definitely be fixed by updates to TinyMCE in future versions.

Oddly enough, cntrl + shift + <- works.

Works in IE9.0.8112.16421

FWIW, since updating to WordPress v3.3, CTRL-Backspace works for me in Internet Explorer v8 and Firefox v8.0.1, but not in Chrome v16.

So aggravating. Ctrl+Delete and Ctrl+Backspace don’t work in www.remarpro.com and WordPress.com in Chrome. ??

Ctrl+Shift+Delete doesn’t do anything either (as asharperrazor suggested).
