    I know that you feel you have improved your plug-in (“we have adapted our plugin to the way it should be done (using WordPress API functions”). But really, if people like myself with current WordPress version are getting the error message “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” when using a .csv file, your plug-in will get lower and lower ratings. Deactivating all other plug-ins each time I want to use yours (I have 43 others in use) is not practical. What is practical is fixing the CSV plugin so that it works. And I don’t see any “security plug-in” among my other 43.

    @machank,

    Good morning, we cannot fix what we are not blocking.

    Some versions ago, we had a different method to import CSV files. The WordPress plugin tell us that we had to change it to the default way to improve the security. We had to do it. From then, we are not managing CSV uploading directly, is WordPress API who does it and who sometimes block it.

    I am going to prepare two filters to try to avoid it, but we have tested in many sites and it does not solve it.

    We are the victims of this problem ??
