CSV upload: event venues do not match venues in system

Hi,

I have just started to use the Events Calendar, German version.

I need to create > 500 events for > 50 venues and hence depend on the CSV upload.

I followed instructions on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/ . More or less all working, except the following:

The events created do not match up with the venues already in place. I made sure venue names used are exactly identical (no spaces etc). but it just does not work..

I am strongly considering buying the PRO version. However, I need to get this one resolved first, it would be a show stopper otherwise.

Does anyone have an idea how to resolve it? Thank you!
