CSV Import with event type

    I’m familiar with CSV import, but was wondering if there is a way to import the event type when when you bring in a bunch of items? I have three specific event types in the database.

    I’ve done that myself using the Really Simple CSV Importer plugin (this doesn’t seem to have been updated recently though). Any importer that handles custom post types and their custom taxonomies should be able to do this.

    You can add the event types to WP first and then import the CSV file with them listed in an extra column. There is an example file here:-
