    Hi guys,
Im not fully understanding the functionality of e-commerce plugins.
I had some file uploaded onto my localhost test website…decided I didn’t like the e-commerce plugin I had chosen and deleted it. I then noticed that the csv files I uploaded had not been deleted. Thinking this was a bit of a bonus, I installed a new 3-commerce plugin (WP e-commerce) and expected that it would automatically display those files in my shopping cart.

    How wrong I was.

I thought if I manually go into the MySQL database and perhaps play around with it I might have been able to figure out how to fix the problem

    how wrong I was.

what database table are they all in??? im sure ive looked in just about every table and cant find anything to do with any products.

I decided to upload a new csv file containing over 1 thousand products. it shows up in my shopping cart but I still cannot find any products table.

    am I missing something???

Yes – every ecommerce plugin is different. A csv file that works with one ecommerce plugin will probably not work with any other.

so where does WP e-commerce store its data?
Is it in the msql database? if so what table is it stored in?

I’d suggest posting that question in the plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.
