    Howdy Axel,

since there arent even any fields in the mapping process.

The mapping terms are not identical, but map them you can. For the screenshot you provided, I would set post_name to name: https://cld.wthms.co/zOINFe

Take a database backup before each run so you can revert your imports and then play around with the fields, until you have a working scenario for you.

2: Can i export the CSV of actual existing products, edit them and reimport them to get more products in my shop?

    Yes, totally.

If yes, what SKU or ID fields do i need to fill myself if i use the Plugin “WooCommerce Product SKU Generator” from SkyVerge?
I tried it in different versions but always the variations got lost.

Don’t use the ID’s until you specifically have to, stick to SKU’s for mapping variations to parent products. The SKU format or value should make no difference. I would setup a sample variable product exactly as you need it and then export it so you can mimic it’s CSV structure.

I am marking this as resolved, but feel free to follow up or open a new thread anytime.

Ok, this is what i thought and already read on different docs & tutorials.
I tried to do that and that leads us to this thread:

So this thread is resolved and can be closed.
    Thanx for helping
