    Hi,

I really like your plugin, but we have one big problem.

We’d like to use Newsletter after our relaunch, therefore we have to import a csv sheet with almost 4000 subscribers. As we are in Germany some of them have names with German umlaute, let’s say Müller for example.

Unfortunately the Newsletter Plugin doesn’t import these data and breaks when it gets to a point where it detects such an umlaut.

If there is no solution for this (we tried saving the file as utf8 and things like that), we manually have to first delete these names off the csv sheet, then import the normal names, then add the “umlaut”-names manually, which is lots of work.

Can you help at this point?

Many thanks in advance and best regards
    Chris

Hi, when generating the CSV be sure to select the charset enconding to UTF-8, specially if you’re saving it from excel. Or just try to copy and paste the records directly in the import panel CSV area.

    Stefano.
