CSS_Dropdownmenu Issue… & Question

I followed the install directions, but I’m having duplicate menu’s pop up on my site. I’d like to have the “dropdown” part under the header. And now the old header is gone, and just the text stacked on top of each other is in that location. How can I get rid of the menu under the header, and replace it with the drop down that is positioned @ the top. Did I do something backwards?
