CSS Styling of slider

It would be great if there were hooks to style the images in the slider. Unfortunately there is no CSS class that is output on the page.
I was able to fix by making a change to line 204 in /shortcodes/shortcodes.php from:
return '<div class="">to
return '<div class="carousel_img">
